I'm from the No Frills Volleyball League and the Vancouver Recreational Softball League.
Our volleyball coed league is a friendly indoor-6's league based solely in Greater Vancouver. We play a "true coed" where there are never more than 3 males or 3 females on the court.
Our fees are very affordable and we play from September to April.
Our goal is to have 32 teams in the league this year and we have lots of room right now.
We play games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and we have 4 skill levels. From 'A/B' (our more competitive level of this recreational league) to 'C/D'(for teams that just want to get some exercise and aren't bent on winning all that much). We have our 'A/B' and a 'C' on Tuesdays plus a 'C' and a 'C/D' on Wednesdays.
We run on a schedule that is posted online and you always play your matches on the same night each week at either 6:30, 7:00, 8:00 or 8:15 p.m.
There is never any waiting around to play. You go, set up, play and go home (or you go, play, tear down and go home).
You can register anytime between now and early September ('09) and you can find out more about us from our website at www.nofrillsvolleyball.com. If you want to save a few bucks on fees, register between now and mid-August.
